Abstract :
This article presents an architecture for storing ontologically annotated medical images in a GRID. We will be able to extract information from the annotations, which are represented ontologically using RDF. We implement GRID services associated with the development of methodologies for ontological annotations of data contained in a Data Grid (specifically on the Storage Elements). We also provide query services based on the knowledge perspective of the users. Issues related to image storage and service integration are considered, using the facilities of the gLite GRID middleware.
