Abstract :
Software Defined Radio (SDR) is becoming more and more frequently used technique for wireless communication. It facilitates as fast prototyping and is a versatile method for developing new communication systems. SDR can be realized based on high computational capacity platform, where power consumption is no a primary concern like i.e. DVB or BTS transmitters. Another trend are low power systems, where available power in reduced and more attention is paid to immunity to interferences and distortion, while communication capacity can be low. In this a paper low power M2M SDR platform is presented with special respect to Baseband Processor realized on BlackFin DSP. In this implementation a low power audio CODEC is used, which also multiple input - single output feature.
