  • Abstract
Current ubiquity of Global Navigation Satellite Systems´ receivers forces the need of producing simulators which may be used for testing the performance of such receivers in various conditions. The aim of this article is to present one of the ways of designing and implementing the GPS signal simulator using Software Defined Radio technique. First, background information on reasons of this project is given. Next, the general idea of SDR GPS simulator is shown. The article presents detailed descriptions of particular modules which are elements of the simulator. A brief outline of future work is also described.
