Abstract :
Profiles of the Ha line emitted from the hot electron plasma Te ≫ Ti during the 100 ns REB injection resemble the Gaussian ones from neutrals with a temperature Tn(t)≈ Ti(t) ≈ Te(t) rapidly growing up to 3 0 eV. Combination of Doppler and Stark effects of the intense ion sound waves - remnants of the burned out Langmuir cavitons - is suggested for plausible explanation of this fast Ha line broadening. Reliability of the basic ideas of strong Langmuir turbulence for description of REB-plasma systems is thus indirectly supported, too.
