Abstract :
In two and three dimensional elasticity the energy shape functional is considered for topological changes due to elastic inclusions in the matrix material. We present the shape sensitivity analysis of the functional for boundary variations of the inclusion. The second part of analysis is the asymptotic analysis for the passage to zero of the size of the inclusion. The proposed analysis can be used in the design of stationary as well as evolution elasticity problems.
