Abstract
Architects often build their systems consisting of many cooperating elements. In order to work properly, they need to be managed and controlled. In this article the authors would like to introduce the concept and realization of generic controller for components of a system which enables adding new elements flexibly and making them easy to integrate and interoperate with each other. In the article the authors present three architectural concepts taken into consideration, while organizing such a controller. The pros and cons of each concept are discussed and choice for realization is motivated. Web Services Solution based on combination of Command and Factory Method Designed Patterns enables fulfilment of the assumptions. The presented controller is able to handle instructions in XML format, and therefore the solution is portable and interoperable (at least in the described case). In the article the authors present more details about the implemented controller, use cases and efficiency tests.
