Abstract :
An experimental device on the basis of one 3μF, 40nH, 50kV capacitor was build with the purpose of performing the investigations of plasma with Z ~ 10 and choosing optimum conditions to achieve high efficiency of soft X-ray radiation. We have described the gas-puff Z-pinch experiment which was carried out using that device.
