Abstract :
In order to solve the stress problems on a human femur with complete metal hip or knee joint prosthesis, we have to know the values of the hip´s or knee´s forces and moments at various times of the human gait. This article presents a computer simulation of human gait. To determine the forces and moments, it means that the differential equations of the dynamics of human gait must be solved numerically.
