Abstract :
Graphene has been the focus of intensive research over the past few years due to its enormous potential in enabling a number of important applications in nanoelectronics and biomedicine. We propose that graphene can be considered as an ideal platform for the development of a new generation of ultra-thin batteries, capable of powering compact and portable biomedical devices that are intended to function autonomously. Here we explore the multiphysics modeling of a photoresponsive bioelectrode formed by the interface of graphene and PSI, which is suitable for sustainable electricity generation.
