Abstract
Coupling of localized surface plasmon resonances results in singular effects at the void space between noble metal nanoparticles. Here, we present an approach that allows to produce raspberry-like nanoclusters in which metal nanoparticles are in close interaction. Two types of architectures based on isotropic or anisotropic metallic nanoparticles have been explored. Their production, in high yield and high amount, is based on colloidal chemistry methods. First optical characterization yields novel and intriguing plasmonic effects.
