  • Abstract
A new simple approximate method based on TLM approach for analyses of circular-sector-shaped structures will be presented. Applying domain segmentation the microstrip structure can be divided into an integer number of various types of subsections. Each subsection type can be replaced with crossed transmission lines, i.e. with their lumped element models. In that manner it is possible to make simple electrical circuit representing analysed microstrip structure. Obtained electrical circuit can be solved using any standard electrical CAD program. In this paper expressions for computing equivalent circuits parameters are derived for each type of subsection. To illustrate the effectiveness and quality of the suggested analysis an example is given and obtained results are compared with ones obtained using other methods.
