Abstract :
The performance optimization of power electronic converters is obtainable using adequate command algorithms, adapted for specific applications. For this purpose, digital control has been implemented based on ASICs (application specific integrated circuits) and microcontrollers. Controlling a three-phase PWM inverter, maximum sinusoidal phase-to-phase sinusoidal voltage output and compensation of nonlinearities introduced by dead-time were achieved. Experimental results are also presented.
