Abstract :
The asymptotic solution to diffraction problem of EM waves on a set of embedded thin wires is used for creating medium with desired refraction coefficient. The properties of resulting medium differ considerably on the properties of initial medium. The numerical results confirm the correctness of the approach proposed, and demonstrate the possibility to create medium with specific refraction coefficient.
