Abstract :
The development of UHF antenna devices for high data transmission rates is topical nowadays due to the overload of the explored radiofrequency range. In this paper, we describe the concept of optical antenna which can be used in terahertz frequency. It is based on diffraction grating theory and the ability of semiconductors to change their conductivity under light illumination.
