Abstract
In recent years e-Schoolbag is established as an overarching concept of large-scale Chinese implementation of digital textbooks and related services. Chinese authorities have promoted e-Textbooks and e-Schoolbag projects for international standardization, creating a strong interest from the international community to learn more about new design ideas behind e-Schoolbag and current practices. This paper presents a case study based on Chinese research literature, exploring the evidence base and research focus of the Chinese e-Schoolbag initiatives.
