A Semantic-Based Health Advising System Exploiting Web-Based Personal Health Record Services

In recent years, the growing of interest in healthcare has promoted the usage of internet and web-based personal health record (PHR) services as a popular approach to self-healthcare management. However, it remains difficult for ordinary people to identify the relevance of health information to them as individuals by using the Web. Also, despite rapid growth in web-based PHR services, the utilization of PHR data in these services is still at a low level. In this paper, we propose a semantic-based health advising system exploiting web-based PHR services.
