  • Abstract
    Smart Grid is a very comprehensive subject which includes the complete energy business line from Generation to Transmission & Distribution to End-Users. The focus of this paper is on the aspects towards the end of this chain, namely smart meters and energy efficiency. Through this paper we will highlight the tangible benefits of Smart Metering and Energy Auditing, outlining the initiative Saudi Aramco is working on to install Smart Meters across all its houses and buildings.
