Abstract :
A technique to add a C-band and notch bands to a UWB slot antenna is proposed. UWB slot antenna here is fed by a rectangular patch with beveled bottom edge for satellite applications. A quarter wavelength stubs is used for c-band attached to the ground plane. The notch band which is centered at 3.5 GHz WiMAX is also created by placing stub. Complementary split ring resonator is used here so as to notch the WLAN band which is centered at 5.8 GHz and which is mainly used for miniaturization here in this paper. The reflection coefficient is found to be -30.36 dB.
