Abstract :
The rapid spread of smartphone have increased the interest on location based service (LBS), which provides various additional information services, such as the Indoor Positioning System (IPS) in particular. Indoor positioning solutions are based on Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS) which uses APs that are widely supplied. In this work, we present a hybrid positioning method that improves an accuracy using the WPS and Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) method based on sensors in smartphone.
