Abstract :
ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) is the lead centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation in the development and operationalisation of satellites for communication, navigation and remote sensing applications. A well orchestrated highly advanced embedded system plays a major role in success of all such satellites. Dynex MAR31750 was the processor used for our all GSAT, INSAT, IRS type of satellites. Now moved to HX1750 processor based CPU designed for standard AOCE of GSAT 17/18 programmes. The validation of this processor and result analysis of module time measurement and its automation are presented in this paper. Special attention is given on verification and comparison of results of Dynex processor and HX1750 processor. The onboard computational load increases as per the new requirements and to incorporate autonomy onboard. To accomplish all the computational requirements, time segment based design is adopted. Hence timing measurement of modules play a major role in evaluating the processor. This paper mainly states the realization of the same.
