Abstract :
In this study, an improved equipment effectiveness evaluation method based on the cloud theory was proposed to remedy the deficiency in the existing cloud evaluation methods. And the evaluation process was designed: got the index cloud model by the reverse cloud algorithm, determined the weight cloud model by the improved formula weighting method, obtained the system effectiveness cloud model by the cloud algebraic operations, set the evaluation grade of the system effectiveness cloud model by the model-driven method based on the golden section ratio, obtained the evaluation results by the forward cloud algorithm. This method was applied to the effectiveness evaluation of the shipborne navigation equipment, and its simulation was carried out with MATLAB software. The application proves that this method is feasible, which not only reduces the subjective factors in the evaluation, but also gets overall and visualized evaluation results. And this study provides a beneficial attempt for the effectiveness evaluation of the complex systems.
