Abstract :
Node locations and distance are important in networks. This article assumes sensor nodes are distributed randomly and studies the energy consumption in a single regular hexagon and two adjacent regular hexagon. Meanwhile, distance distribution function is verified and point average energy consumption function is derived and simulated by using Monte Carlo method. The simulation results show that distance distribution function and point average energy consumption simulation function are very closed with theoretical calculation. The calculation method for estimating the large-scale network energy consumption provide a theoretical and practical basis.
