Abstract :
Since climate in Changbai Mountain changes frequently and topography is complex, visitors can´t enjoy the real Changbai Mountain charm sometimes. AR technology can be used to let the visitors not only enjoy the graceful of Changbai Mountain, but also understand the whole historical formation process. Compared with simple rehabilitation, this way helps visitors to understand the process of terrain intentionally. It´s the first time that researchers apply AR and the virtual dynamic model to the real scene of Changbai Mountain. In this paper, we make the prototype system and build many models, such as static model, dynamic model, video model and text model. It is a leading example of combination of natural beauty and AR. Changbai Mountain with the help of science and technology is shown in front of people, so that AR technology assists the tourism industry healthy and rapid development of Changbai Mountain.
