Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a novel algorithm for editing fluid sequences using space warping technique. This technique allows us obtain user-specified flow sequence based on original sequence. Our algorithm analyzes the motion of input fluid sequence, computes the geometry transformation between the flow lines of input sequence and the user-specified flow lines, and then synthesizes the edited sequences. By this way, we can solve the computational cost of simulating fluid sequences. And we can obtain different forms of fluid sequences by editing available continuous flow patterns. We use this technique to edit sequences of smoke sequences for experiment in this paper.
