Abstract
In a real system, power system planners need to handle vast data during the power system restoration process. It is difficult and complex to make most advantageous decisions in a shorter time. This paper proposes a comprehensive and integrated network optimization scheme, which will speed up the process of power system restoration. The proposed scheme is applied on IEEE 30 bus system to demonstrate its efficacy. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is applied on test bus system to find out the most weighted path in order to priorities those for energization from a complete black out situation. For complete restoration of network paths, the generic restoration milestone approach is applied. The decision regarding the network lines is expected to reduce the restoration time, therein rising the system consistency.
