Abstract
A new approach for direct design of the arbitrary-shaped polygonal apertures in the binary phase computer generated hologram is proposed. The very high number of pixels in the e-beam lithography is managed by the genetic algorithm with local search followed by the floating of the co-vertices of the elementary triangles to obtain a high performance hologram with low image error and large object window.
