Abstract :
Inefficient use of the spectrum led to the development of cognitive radio network, especially in clustered environment, channel selection is considered as a main factor. If the channel selection is not efficient then it may lead to propagation delay. The propagation delay is directly proportional to channel selection scheme inside the cluster. Various channel selection techniques such as Aloha, Markov decision model, Evolutionary algorithm, Probability decision algorithm and many other were proposed, but were not suitable for multiple SU´s consideration at the time of channel selection. Our Proposed Co-operative game theory is an optimal Channel Selection technique which improves the sensing efficiency and applies the optimal power usage to individual SU´s. Through the effective channel selection the proposed model greatly reduced the end-to-end delay in the cooperative environment. Description of the advantages, solutions and various issues are given in the paper.
