Abstract :
Todays important concern of the power system is the power quality. The power quality improvement in the interconnected micro grid systems and grid interconnection with Distribution Generation (DGs) is the challenging task as renewable energy generators interfaced with micro grid systems. Today many people are attracted towards distribution generation (DGs) because of low energy cost power supply, local generation, highly reliable system, supply with good power quality, etc. The existence energy sources cannot provide energy for long time in future but to overcome these future problems the renewable energy sources are the best solution. The distribution generation is done using wind turbines, solar panel, etc. as they are the renewable energy sources. For the better interconnection of renewable energy sources with grid i.e. inverter interfacing with grid the LCLR filters is used in between inverter and micro grid with power quality improvement. In this paper comprehensive MATLAB simulation of PV cell, DC-DC boost converter and inverter with LCLR filter is done.
