  • Abstract
    This paper presents a study on the technologies used for doubly fed Induction generator (DFIG) based wind energy generation system (WEGS) till date and the FFT analysis of the same system. Global wind energy statistics are also shown. Preface on WEGS is also given. Various control techniques are discussed in order to revamp the performance and to overcome some problems for WEGS. A 9 MW wind farm was simulated in Matlab R2014a simulink and FFT analysis of this system is studied during fault conditions.
