  • Abstract
    The paper proposes a new methodology in order to improve the quality of satellite images. It is demonstrated that it is possible to achieve a better performance than that of Bilateral filter in a variety of noise levels. We have proposed Weiner filter in accordance with SPEA2 algorithm which removes pre-filtering and high noise level: therefore it improves the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and visual quality gets improved and complexities and processing time are reduced. This improved algorithm is extended and used to denoise satellite images. Output results show that the performance has upgraded in comparison with current methods of denoising satellite.
