Abstract :
Water is a natural resource that is very important. All living beings consume water, such as plants, animals, and humans. When the water is contaminated by pollutants it will damage the environment. More than that, it would have an impact on human health. Before consumption, the water must be guaranteed without pollutants. Conductivity is one of water quality parameters. High water conductivity showed a high presence of iron, magnesium, calcium, chloride, nitrat, sulfate, and phosphate anions. The importance of knowing the the conductivity is to determine mineralization and metal content in the water. The high conductivity due to the iron, it will be harmful to health. This paper will discuss the design of electronic circuits for remote sensing for water conductivity using Zigbee. This device can be used as a monitoring tool and early warning for the pollution of rivers, lakes, pools, and water processing. The data of testing results show that the level of consistency and accuracy of equipment is 94.8% and 99.37%, respectively. The Performance of data transmission up to 4.3 Km by using four repeaters.
