Abstract :
In this paper the new original method for derivatives extraction from measured output signal of continuous system will be presented. To this aim the special structure of double moving window exact state observer will be used. The main contribution of this paper is the use of this type of derivatives extractor for detection of derivatives rapid changes caused by the abrupt changes in parameters of continuous system. It will be shown, that it allows not only detection of the parameter faults, but also their isolation in the process structure.
