  • Abstract
    In order to eliminate the cascading overload caused by power flow transferring, the paper puts forward a method for fast search of dangerous lines in power flow transferring and an emergency control strategy considering the balancing machine. When the fault line is disconnected, search the shortest path between the end nodes of the broken line. Monitor the lines on the path emphatically. If the lines on the path are overload, lock their backup protection. According to the GSDF of each node to the overload lines, considering the balancing machine participating in emergency control, determine the control node and adjustment power to eliminate the overload rapidly. The method is verified in the IEEE39 bus system.
