Abstract :
With the development of network especially the internet technology, the communication between spacecraft and ground station based on network is becoming a hot research topic. In order to link terminals between space and ground, a network architecture according to the characteristics of the RF links between space and ground, is given in this paper, which is mainly base on the IP over CCSDS protocol. A gateway is designed to exchange IP packages between space and ground systems to establish a space-ground IP network with the ability of Internet accessing. To guarantee the quality of serves (QoS), a novel flow rate control method based on characteristics of the source data is rendered. The experiment results show that the technique in the paper on space-ground network is feasible with an efficient use of the transmission channel.
