  • Abstract
    A study has been conducted regarding effect of local Power System Stabilizers and wide area damping controller(WADC) on various inter-area modes present in an inter-connected power system. The local PSS as well as WADC have strategically placed on the paths of dominant inter-area modes, to have maximum beneficial impact on system modal damping.
