Abstract :
The correctness of network service module is difficult to solve. In this paper, from the aspect of message flow and system states, we propose a surveillance approach for the network service running. We use the security server implemented as service process to capture all the messages of network service module, and judge the correctness through compare with the predefined relations of message sequences and states. We realize the surveillance prototype (NSoFMS) in self-implemented operating system, and examine the effectiveness of surveillance and performance of the entire system. The results show that NSoFMS has the good surveillance ability and little impact on the system performance.
