Abstract :
A novel structured energy loss evaluation paradigm for the cement clinker manufacturing process is presented to identify thermal energy losses. According to the thermal energy balance relations of the cement clinker manufacturing process and the feasibility and profitability of energy saving implements, the detailed energy saving potential check and thermal energy loss distribution histogram of the cement clinker manufacturing process can be realized, which provides full transparency visualization about the thermal energy saving potential up to the best practice. A case study on a real cement clinker plant is presented which show the benefit of such a transparent thermal energy saving potential evaluation paradigm.
