Abstract
The increasing research need for communication network due to its numerous advantages has made the study of networked control system (NCS) a crucial topic of discussion. Drops and time delays are two main problems that now exist in NCS. This paper aims at exemplifying how control strategy of Smith predictor combined with fuzzy adaptive control logic can be applied in synchronous control area. Based on TrueTime software, several control strategies are implemented on three-motor NCS to give insights on what degree modified Smith predictor proposed can mitigate effects of time delay on synchronous performance.
