  • Abstract
A test method for electronic jamming effect on missiles is proposed, in which the unmanned aircraft piloted by a homing seeker is used to simulate the jammed missile object to test the jamming effect of electronic warfare weapons on missiles. The feasibility of the method is demonstrated and verified by smokescreen jamming test on the simulated guidance flight of an unmanned airship piloted by a TV seeker, which shows that the smokescreen can produce marked jamming effect on the guidance flight and make the airship deviate from the guidance flight course and the expected target. Compared with the existing test methods for electronic jamming effect on missiles, the method features as easier operation, lower cost and better safety, thus could have wide prospect of application in electronic warfare test and evaluation.
