Abstract
Device to-Device (D2D) communication is considered as a paradigm that appears to be a promising technique in the next generation cellular technologies. In this paper, we propose a new dynamic resource allocation and power control algorithm for D2D communications overlay OFDMA cellular networks. The main idea is to exchange, among Base Stations (BSs) the cooperative system, Interference Avoidance Request (IAR) messages that will be used afterward to dynamically control the transmit power. Besides, extensive evaluations have confirmed that Dynamic Fractional Frequency Reuse (DFFR) D2D delivers the offloading benefits of D2D. In our tightly coordinated system, results show that this scheme reduces Inter Cell Interference (ICI) as well as improves throughput.
