  • Abstract
    In this work we report on a diode end pumped bulk Yb:KYW laser with 9 W of output power at 1045 nm wavelength with the highest slope efficiency of 88.9% (in high power regime) compared to all other diode pumped Yb-doped lasers. The average beam quality factor was 1.07.
