Abstract :
Long-range surface plasmon-polariton dual and triple output Mach-Zehnder interferometers were modulated thermo-optically and chemically, revealing the advantages of a 2× to 3× larger dynamic range and the potential to suppress the time-varying common perturbations in the outputs. The devices are promising for sensing applications, particularly bulk and (bio)chemical sensing.
