  • Abstract
    This paper presents the overview of heterogeneous III-V/Si photonic integration configuration as a platform technology. The efficient adiabatic optical coupling between the active III-V/Si ridge waveguide and thin silicon-on-insulator (SOI) passive nanophotonic waveguide section is addressed.
