Abstract :
To establish flexible, strong value chain network, a closed-loop digital manufacturing system is proposed with an autonomous statistical analytics module and an autonomous discrete-event simulation module. In this research, the system is called as "S-Model-based production system" in which "S" means statistical and simulation. In S-Model, an effective prediction dashboard and an efficient interactive manufacturing planning interface is proposed for prior correspondence to have troubles or disasters. Also this paper describes application results of S-Model to plural industries and discusses the benefits with the real business results.
