  • Abstract
    For the expansion of technologies based on metallic transmission media, it is necessary to have a detailed knowledge of advanced modulation techniques used at the signal transmission in their environments. This contribution shortly discusses limits of transmission rates and features of advanced multi-carrier modulations. A mains part is focused on characteristics of the VDSL and PLC simulation model and on results of the advanced DMT and OFDM modulation technique analysis.
