Abstract
In this paper, the electrical characteristics of nano-polymer composites using multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with two different aspect ratios inside an epoxy resin are analyzed. The complex permittivity of the nano-composites is predicted using the Maxwell-Garnett model and McLachlan´s formulation. The performed analysis showed a discrete dispersion of MWCNTs inside the polymer, and an increase of the effective permittivity and conductivity proportional to the filler concentration.
