Abstract
Ubiquitous network deals with wireless communication between service stations and users along with their mobility, invisibility and evolved smart space. In ubiquitous network, users get their services from available service stations invisibly. In such an open environment, an outsider malicious entity can disrupt the service communication by compromising the privacy of communicating users and(or) service stations. On the other hand, a malevolent service station can compromise the privacy of a user, as well as a malevolent user can compromise the privacy of a legitimate service station. To maintain the privacy of communicating users and service stations, we have introduced a trust based security approach. We have proposed "Privacy Preservation with Trust level" (PPT) in ubiquitous network to secure the privacy of entity´s identity. With our PPT mechanism, a malevolent service station or user or an external malicious entity can be isolated from service communication process depending on trustworthiness level. The efficiency of our proposed PPT protocol is shown with simulation results.
