Abstract :
This paper presents a DSS for water management, and decision makers during water pollution accidents, by means of analysis tools for estimating strategies to avoid water pollution effects resulting from waste industry, oil pollution and other causes. The DSS is based on Internet and Web technologies. The WATERDSS online data (web) services provide a computed water quality index or water pollution test per water application unit employing statistical models. WATERDSS tests the data of water management stations in real-time. The results of the test are presented in GIS maps (ArcGIS) with time series graphs, email reports and web sites. The system automatically sends warnings when water pollution levels are exceeded, using text messages as email reports. The WATERDSS is tested on a case study in the Tigris River in Baghdad city in Iraq. In this research work we develop the application to contain (Data base, Alerts messages, Treatment water advices, optimization algorithms of machine learning, decision tree based on the Evolutionary Computing principles and Water pollution causes). Also, we put the data on the map by using ArcGIS (Arc Map) to determine the location of the water stations.
