Abstract
There are more and more aged people who elder are living alone because of losing their spouses. This paper presents an equipment to remotely detect aged living status to distinguish whether the living status is normal. The device connects the rooms elder to be monitored to the community care agency through the network. The signals from sensors are analyzed by artificial intelligence reasoning to obtain life status information, and the information is sent to the community care agency. The community care agency can monitor the state of the elder person aged, and decide if telephone contact or a visit is needed. A Subjective Bayes Method inference model is used to comprehensively analyze the sensor´s signals, compared with that rely directly on the sensor to judge, which significantly reduces the uncertainty of the signals, enhances the credibility of the life status information, and greatly reduces the network communication burden.
