Abstract :
This paper presents CAD based analysis of a proposed high gain, broad band nearly omnidirectional waveguide broad-wall longitudinal slot array antenna. Ansys HFSS has been used to simulate the structure. A 36 element slot array antenna has been simulated, fabricated and tested. The fabricated antenna provides a high gain and nearly omnidirectional radiation pattern over large band width.
